Draft for the closed beta, 29 October 2026. To be reviewed before the public launch.
Terms of service
These terms are between you and Mobterest Studio Ltd, a company registered in Kenya, which makes Vennie. By using Vennie you agree to them.
The beta
Vennie is in a closed beta. It is free during the beta, it may change often, and some things may not work as they should. It is provided as it is, without promises that it will be available all the time or free of mistakes.
There is no backup in the beta. Your list lives on your phone; if the phone is lost, reset or the app is removed, your list is gone. Use the Download everything button to keep a copy.
Your account
You need an account to sort what you type. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be 18 or older to use Vennie.
Reminders are help, not guarantees
Vennie reminds you about things like bills, renewals and expiry dates based on what you tell it and on how it interprets your words. Please check the important dates yourself. We aren’t responsible for a missed payment, an expired document or any other loss if a reminder is wrong, late or doesn’t arrive.
Using Vennie fairly
Don’t misuse the service: don’t try to break or overload it, get around its limits, access other people’s accounts, or use it for anything unlawful. We may limit or end access for anyone who does.
Your content
What you keep in Vennie is yours. It stays on your phone; the words you type are used only to sort them, as our privacy policy explains.
Ending
You can stop using Vennie and delete your account at any time from the Your data screen. We may end the beta or the service; if we do, we’ll give notice in the app where we can, so you can download your list first.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Mobterest Studio isn’t liable for indirect losses from using Vennie, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for it in the past twelve months (nothing, during the free beta). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; we’ll tell you about important changes before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes go to the courts of Kenya, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
