Delete your Vennie account

Vennie is made by Mobterest Studio. You can delete your account and data at any time, from the app or by email. Uninstalling the app on its own doesn’t delete your account.

In the app

1. Open Vennie and go to Today.
2. Tap the shield at the top right to open Your data.
3. Tap Delete my account and data, then Delete everything.

You need an internet connection. If you’re offline, nothing is deleted and the app tells you so.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email mobterest@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my Vennie account”. We’ll delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm. If you write from a different address, we’ll ask you to confirm it’s yours first.

What is deleted

• Your account: your email address, your name if Google shared it, how you sign in, and when you joined and last used Vennie.
• Your sign-in sessions, so every phone you used is signed out.
• Your usage counts, the daily numbers linked to your account.
• Everything on your phone, if you delete from the app: every item, reminder and photo. Your list was never on our server, so deleting by email can’t erase it; uninstall the app to remove it.

Account data is deleted from our server straight away when you delete from the app.

What is kept

• Totals that were never linked to you, such as how many accounts were deleted this month.
• Sorting corrections, if you switched on “Help improve sorting”: only pairs of labels such as “Food & kitchen” to “Household supplies”, never linked to you.
• Server logs, which record basic request details but never what you typed, until they’re deleted automatically after 14 days. IP addresses used for sign-in limits are kept for up to a day.

If you also joined the waitlist, that’s separate: email us and we’ll remove your address from it too.

Before you delete

There’s no backup in the beta, so once your list is erased it can’t be brought back. To keep a copy, tap Download everything on the Your data screen first.
